Asking for assistance is difficult for any person; asking for assistance from a stranger can be an even more daunting task. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that works with individuals suffering from anxiety and depression caused by Impostor Syndrome. I assist clients with understanding the scope of their impostorism, and its origin, and reducing negative symptoms and behaviors that have developed over time as a result of Impostor Syndrome.
In addition, I work with couples that aren’t married or have only been married a short time, typically a year or less. My work with these couples focuses on improving communication, setting expectations, and teaching them tools to navigate life as a couple in the healthiest way possible.
My goal as a therapist, whether working with someone struggling with Impostor Syndrome or a couple, is to assist with developing solutions, gaining insight, and modifying behavior to bring about more happiness, satisfaction, and a sense of understanding in one's life. Together we will work to uncover the underlying influences of your thoughts, emotions and behaviors to create meaningful, positive and lasting change in your life.
